With twelve players re-selected out of the thirteen newly capped players from the 2008 season, the signs of promise and progression are clearly evident. The 2009 Qantas Wallabies have a great mixture of youth and experience. James O’Conner, the second youngest player to ever wear a Wallabies jersey in a Test has been switched from the Australian Under-20s into the Wallabies squad. The ever reliable Stirling Mortlock, returning as Captain, leads the group once again as the country’s third most capped skipper with 25 Tests in charge. To mark the exciting 2009 season, the ARU, have released the official 2009 Wallabies signed jersey. The jersey features the signatures of the entire 2009 squad. This is strictly limited with just 50 jerseys released worldwide. The display includes an a-Tag microchip and certificate of authentication.
