Chad won his first Australian Championship at the age of seven. He went on to win numerous amateur competitions and as a young pro he won two Australian Supercross Championships. Chad Reed took his career to the USA in 2002.

 

In 2009, Reed took second overall in Supercross after a heated rivalry with Stewart culminated in a tense Vegas finale. Reed took consolation in the SX finish by dominating the '09 Motocross season and then successfully defending his Australasian Supercross title.
