Framing - Frequently Asked Questions

Can Champions help me with other picture framing projects?

Yes, our team are certified or qualified picture framers, undertaking a comprehensive four year apprenticeship. So we can easily assist you with all of your picture framing and display requirements.

How long have you been framing sports memorabilia for?

We have specialised in memorabilia framing since 1994.

How much will my framing project cost?

The price is effectively up to you and your particular requirements. Your obligation free quote is based upon the design and type of materials you select (this may include the frame moulding, number of mat boards or custom backing, the most appropriate mounting method for your item and the conservation qualities of your glass) and the actual time which is required to construct your particular display.

How long will it take?

This depends on the type of work that you require. We generally allow two weeks for each custom display project, however if you have a more complex display (i.e. a project with custom mounting solutions, custom graphics and three dimensional acrylic) it may naturally take a little longer. That being said, please make sure to let us know if you have a special celebration or event in mind as we always try to fit your schedule whenever it is possible.

Can you help me if I need to transport my framed display?

If you require your framed display to be transported interstate or overseas - Champions can create a custom transport crate to get it there. Using a three level protection method and heavy duty casing to protect your fragile item - Champions memorabilia has safely arrived in destinations throughout Australia and overseas.

What does Conservation Framing mean?

Conservation framing means that we use quality materials and techniques that actively protect and extend the life of your framed display. The three most important elements of conservation framing are the mat board, the backing material and the glass.
